Application Guidelines

Who Should Apply

As a grant seeker, please carefully review Our Values and Our Giving Program to learn whether your project or organization meets the criteria we have established.

We only support —

  • 501(c) (3) tax-exempt organizations or their foreign equivalent.

We do not support —

  • Scholarships and fellowships submitted by individuals;
  • For-profit venture capital requests submitted by individuals;
  • Sponsorships of golf tournaments, galas, award dinners or other fundraising events (see Sponsorship Policy.)

Initial Contact

Thank you for considering Bridgeway Foundation as you seek partnerships for achieving your mission.

The first step in our application process is to collect some general information from you to know you and determine whether our organizations have compatible goals and visions.

  • Please download the Microsoft Word Document “Letter of Inquiry.” When completing this document, be brief and keep the document to a maximum of 3 pages. When complete, email the document to info@bridgewayfoundation.org.
  • We also need a copy of the IRS letter of determination granting your organization 501c3 tax-exempt status. Either email that document or fax it to us at 713-807-8071.

You will receive notification by email when your Letter of Inquiry has been reviewed by Foundation Staff.
