Redefining Dedication in the Midst of Current Economic Conditions

The current economic conditions generate questions for all of us and it is our commitment to maintain full and open lines of communication with our current and prospective partners. As financial resources for the nonprofit community waver and the need for services increase, Bridgeway Foundation remains dedicated to its mission of assisting a broad array of organizations and causes. In 2009 our financial focus is on fulfilling pre-existing multi-year commitments, while our ambition is to partner with current and future grantees in ways beyond financial support alone.

Given the current market volatility, we are not accepting new proposals for funding. Yet in the midst of the worst bear market since the depression, Bridgeway Foundation remains dedicated to engaging with Partners and committed to finding innovative ways to support your endeavors. During these uncertain times, the Foundation is working toward strengthening partnerships through relationship building, gaining internal operational efficiencies, and cultivating the Foundation’s presence within the philanthropic arena. We are currently exploring creative ways to connect with and support our partners and will be in touch with you throughout the year.
